Kawasaki Heavy Industries was founded in 1896 by Shozo Kawasaki, whom the company is named after. It has headquarters in Chuo-ku, Kobe and Minato, Tokyo in Japan. The company is an international manufacturer of motor vehicles such as motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles. The company employs roughly 29,000 people and its current president is Tadaharu Ohashi.
The company also manufactures watercraft, industrial plants, ships, tractors, trains and small engines as well as aerospace equipment. Some of their aerospace products are military aircraft.
